What's with all the good reviews?

Umm...

This really wasn't that great...and DONT EVER just ask for good reviews...everyone hates that...its just almost like you said everyone who rates this low is stupid...well...I like Harry Potter, and I am smart enough to tell that this was terribly animated, could have been way better, most of it wasn't even frame by frame, just the same movie clips used over and over again...

Plus, you need WAY better sound, other than that...nvm...that's all I have to say...it just wasn't a work of art like I thought it would be after reading the reviews and your description...sorry man...

P.S. You're lucky I even gave you a one...

i've just seen yer profile and the flash movies you made...well i'll just kip it to myself. first of all this movie was made like in 2003. which was 3 years ago. at that time most submissions to newgrounds weren't that great. only a few did a good job and at that time i was really proud of this cause it was my first time animating a chase scene. well we all learn from our mistakes and improve in time as you can see in my other submissions. people prefer frame by frame animation but thats up to them. i like using movie clips and motion tween to save time on animation. the only thing about a flash movie is to produce yer idea into reality and show it to the world as you saw fit through wat process you want. again, i'm still proud of this and i know its crappy but this is where i started and how my animations have become to this day. i got good reviews cause they believe this was a good flash movie. i'm sorry if you don't feel the same way.

Well, not sure I got what it was supposed to mean, but it was good animation of the fish hacking up a guitar! Make a story next time, and make it LOOONNNGGG!!! Other than that, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

If you haven't noticed, the whole AYB thing wasn't really ever a fad, it sort of turned into a cult! But this was kinda freaky that it was up today on Newgrounds, because I was actually just on the all your base are belong to us website last night! Anyways, GREAT JOB!!!

Eh, this was a decent animation. But not to be mean or anything, just make sure that in the future, you might not want to make stuff turn around using the method you did. Just make them immediately facing the other direction or something, because they look 2d when you do that, and it just annoys people! Anyways, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

(P.S. You also might want to make it more detailed next time)

Sorry Man...

Sorry man...but if you are going to submit something where most of the time you can't understand the characters, and the graphics AND animation suck...I have to give you a bad review...I mean...how do people like this stuff? Seriously though...keep at it and you will succeed...just at least animate a little more and spend a little more time making it better...THANKS!!! Keep at it and you WILL PWN ALL!!!

Cool

This movie was pretty good, I liked the toon. I hope you accept constructive criticism...because here are some ways that you could possibly improve. First of all in the madness scene, I would have made them fade in or something instead of just appearing. I also reccomend to not use the same movie clips over again, it kind of gets boring, maybe you could have made new stuff to the whole sticks are dead thing the second time around? Well...the pros are on the other hand, you had a very spiffy style with the shading and everything. When you did use movie clips they WERE usually done frame by frame as far as I can tell...so over all KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Hmm... Indeed. The clip gets quite monotonous every time the chorus comes around, doesn't it... And a fade for the Madness bit could've made it that much flashier.
As for what i did well, yes. The clips are always frame by frame. I hate to use tweening so much. Not for anything, but i just think it doesn't convey realism when you gotta move characters' hands, arms, legs, feet, etc.
I'll put the suggestions to good use next time i make a film and thanks for the help!

Great artwork...but...

The artwork was amazing...but no offense...all your animation was horrible...if you are going to use tweens like that at least have multiple layers...like more than two!!! So try a little harder on the animation...but good work...keep it up!!!

funny that you would say that, but the fact is that im trying TOO hard, or also known as "graphic intensive"

im going to lower the detial of the characters in the action sequences to improve animation rate hopefully.
